Hi, We’re THE YELLOW ROSES,

We’re a multi-cultural band of people who read and champion each others’ writing, who live in and around Texas’ “Golden Triangle”.

We’re sharing our stories with you and other vetted tales written for the screen that we’ve found within our circles of not yet produced scripts for film and television that have a Texas setting/are written by those living in Texas.

This first year, we’re starting small with THE TEXAS LIST (TTL) but other years, we hope to go wider and get more folks in on this and hand it over to a larger group.

With Texas now being home to living legends— filmmakers like Terrence Malick, Kristen Dunst, Jesse Plemons, Emma Stone, Elijah Wood, Jeff Nichols, Roberto Rodriguez, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Glen Powell, Matthew McConaughey, Taylor Sheridan, Richard Linklater and model Bella Hadid plus others. We thought we’d share some of our own flavor, adding to legacies like that of Dallas Buyers’ Club that brought critical acclaim and brought home the gold for a Texas “Best Actor” (even if it was filmed out of state).

Stories about Texas and Texans deserve the support of Texans. We’re excited to share what we’ve got and look forward to sharing what you’ve got subsequently.

Let’s harness the power of this tremendous state. Stories mean everything.
